Remote working in Italy: Just a pandemic accident or a lesson for the future?

During the Covid-19 pandemic, remote working (RW) has been a way to producing despite limiting contacts. In Italy, about half of workers experienced, at least for part their time, RW during years 2020 and 2021. this paper we analyse data collected through web-based survey conducted in second 2021 convenience sample Italian adults. The was aimed highlighting how Italians experienced pandemic they perceived future. Also, measured frequency intensity phenomenon, feelings those who practiced opinion possibility practice it show that so many adults pandemic. Their judgement experience is largely positive: 60.8% stated were inclined pursue again as normal work strategy. Though, there are distinctions. type job recent entail people’s commitment towards RW. Even what people expect from may influence disposition take normal. convolution wells disposition, scouted multivariate statistical analysis, showed that, on top well-known suitability certain types (white-collar, gig activities, self-employed), workers’ propensity higher if commuting cost saving, own time optimisation not-too-open schedules, work-family balance free surplus, interaction socialisation with other company’s employees customers secure web connection characterise jobs.
